Background Welcome to the James Leroy tribute site. The music of James Leroy has had a special attraction to me ever since I was a teenager. There was something about his songs that set them apart from a lot of what I heard on the radio, an honesty, a sincerity, in addition to catchy melodies and great lyrics. As a musician I've come to appreciate the musicianship involved in his recordings and the combination of sounds that is unique to his music.
When I discovered there was no tribute site to James I decided to take on the job and started looking up ex-band members, managers, friends and family members.
A big thank you to ex-manager Harvey Glatt, James' brother Ron Leroy, James' sister Suzanne, Gary Comeau (of Denim) ,web-master Gary Lessard and Keith Hampshire (the "Big Time Operator") for providing me with the materials and input for this site. Thanks to Richard Patterson for contact information and Mark Weber for assistance in getting this stuff up on the web.

Lyrics - I've started trying to post the lyrics to songs from the Denim album. Anyone able to contribute to this project please let me know, still a bunch to do.
In 2009 I will be putting together a short documentary on James Leroy, focusing on his time with Denim. Stay tuned for more details.
